DearMe was created for new and expectant mothers who may have a lot to process emotionally, but very little uninterrupted time to pause and reflect. The product needed to make emotional recording feel simple, flexible and low pressure, while also supporting highly personal user content across text, voice, photos and video. Privacy and the way user information was handled therefore needed to be considered as part of the product from the start.
Techne HQ helped turn the founder’s idea into a complete digital product experience, covering product positioning, UX/UI, mobile app development and responsive website delivery. The app supports written entries, voice notes, photos and videos, with mood and theme tags helping users organise and revisit their experiences. Behind the interface, Techne HQ also implemented the systems needed to manage multimedia content and private user data as part of one consistent product experience.

DearMe progressed from an initial concept into a complete live digital product for new and expectant mothers. The final delivery brought together product positioning, UX/UI, mobile app development, multimedia journaling, private user content management and a responsive website, creating one consistent DearMe experience across the product and brand.

A proper technical foundation for private user data.
DearMe captures highly personal content across text, voice, photos and video. That meant the technology behind the product needed to support private user data, multiple media formats and a reliable mobile experience.
With privacy and data security as key considerations, Techne HQ selected a production-ready technology stack suited to how DearMe handles and manages its users’ personal content.
